This is NOT financial advice
ScalpView is an analytical software tool, not a regulated financial advisor. You can lose all of your invested capital trading the markets. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
1. ScalpView is a software tool, not a financial advisor
ScalpView ("the Service") is a market analytics and educational platform operated by Seafra Capital. It provides:
- Mechanical technical-indicator computations (support/resistance, EMAs, RSI, pivots, etc.)
- Data aggregation from publicly available sources (Twelve Data, TradingView, ForexFactory, CFTC)
- AI-generated commentary based on the above data
- Calculators and educational utilities (risk math, journal, killzone clock, etc.)
ScalpView does NOT provide:
- Personalized investment advice
- Recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument
- Brokerage, dealing, or order-execution services
- Tax, legal, or accounting advice
Seafra Capital is not authorised or regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland, the Financial Conduct Authority (UK), the SEC, FINRA, ASIC, ESMA, or any other financial regulator. Nothing on this Service should be construed as a recommendation by a regulated entity.
2. Trading is high-risk
Trading foreign exchange (FX), contracts for difference (CFDs), futures, indices, commodities, and cryptocurrencies on margin carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors. Before deciding to trade, you should:
- Carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite
- Understand the leverage and margin mechanics of your broker or prop firm
- Be prepared for the possibility of losing some or all of your invested capital
- Seek independent professional advice if you have any doubts
The high degree of leverage common in retail FX/CFD trading can work against you as well as for you. You can lose more than your initial deposit on some products.
3. Signals are mechanical pattern detections, not predictions
All "signals," "bias," "trade ideas," and "implications" displayed by ScalpView are the result of mathematical computations on historical and live price data. They are not forecasts. They are not opinions of a licensed analyst. They do not consider your specific financial situation, risk tolerance, or objectives.
A "STRONG BUY" or "STRONG SELL" label is simply the output of our weighting algorithm — it is not a recommendation to take a position.
4. AI commentary may be wrong
Mega Mind, the Trade Narrator, the Macro Pulse synthesizer, and any other AI-generated text on ScalpView are produced by third-party large-language models (currently OpenAI and Anthropic). LLM outputs may:
- Contain factual errors or "hallucinations"
- Reflect outdated information
- Misinterpret the supplied market data
- Generate plausibly-worded but incorrect analysis
Always cross-check AI output against primary data sources before acting on it.
5. Past performance ≠ future results
Any historical performance figures, backtest results, payout examples, or strategy statistics shown on the Service are not a reliable indicator of future performance. Forex, indices, and crypto markets are dynamic. Strategies that worked in the past may not work in the future. Live trading typically differs significantly from backtested results due to slippage, spreads, news events, and emotional factors.
6. Prop firm trading carries additional risks
ScalpView includes tools designed for prop-firm-funded traders (Drawdown Survivor, Risk-of-Ruin, Killzone Compliance, etc.). These tools are not affiliated with or endorsed by any specific prop firm beyond our disclosed affiliate partnerships. Prop firm rules, payouts, and account terms can change at any time and are governed by the prop firm — not by ScalpView.
Risk-management calculators on ScalpView are guidance only. Always verify the exact rules of your funded account with your prop firm.
7. Affiliate disclosure
ScalpView earns referral commission from certain affiliate partners — most notably FundedX. When you sign up for FundedX through links on our Service, we receive a commission at no additional cost to you. This commission helps fund the development of ScalpView.
The presence of these affiliate links should not be interpreted as a guarantee that the partner is suitable for you. We encourage you to read the partner's terms, rules, and reviews independently before signing up.
8. Market data may be delayed or inaccurate
Prices displayed on ScalpView are sourced from Twelve Data and TradingView. Data may be delayed, contain errors, or be subject to outages. Do not rely on ScalpView prices for actual trade execution. Always confirm prices and order details directly with your broker before placing trades.
9. No fiduciary or advisor relationship
By using ScalpView, you acknowledge that no fiduciary, agency, broker, advisor, or similar relationship is created between you and Seafra Capital. We owe you no duty to provide accurate signals, to update content, or to act in your best financial interest. Your account and trading decisions remain your sole responsibility.
10. You assume all risk
By signing up for and using ScalpView, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You understand the risks of trading
- You are responsible for all trading decisions made using the Service
- You release Seafra Capital and its operators from any liability for trading losses
- You will not hold us liable for any prop-firm account breach, broker dispute, or capital loss arising from your use of our tools
11. If you're in a regulated jurisdiction
Some jurisdictions (notably the United States, Canada, Japan, and Singapore) restrict the marketing of non-regulated trading tools to retail investors. If you reside in such a jurisdiction, you should consult local laws before using ScalpView. We may restrict access from certain regions at any time.
12. Get help when you need it
If you find yourself trading in a way that's harming your finances, relationships, or mental health, please reach out to a professional. Resources:
